Personally, I rejected the idea of making New Year's resolutions a long time ago. I believe that for sustained success and motivation we must regularly review our goals, not just once a year, but every day - consistently.
I also believe that New Year's resolutions give us the opportunity to abdicate responsibility to start something NOW. They allow us to wait for the start of a new year to make a change, when the reality is, our time is never guaranteed.
